Merhaba Umut is an app that helps Syrian refugees to be easily integrated into Turkey by providing them with language learning support through the app. It contains language cards with which Arabic speakers can learn 700 most common words and expressions in Turkish, as well as instant speech translation between Turkish and Arabic. A FAQ section includes information on registration as a refugee and access to public services. The app also gives users access to the daily news on various topics and helps them navigate the last 2 days' news within the application. Various education videos produced by Turkcell Academy and its partners also aid learning of various necessary skills. Hello Hope also incorporates one-click access to Turkcell’s Arabic-language call center.
