Design Specifications

The BlueBox RO takes influent raw water and uses a 12 V DC pump to push the water through a 25-micron filter, a 5-micron filter, and an activated carbon filter. Throughout this process, a UV lamp is used to impose UV radiation in the system to kill biologic organisms. As the water passes through each filter, it undergoes UV radiation from the lamp. Once the process is complete, the water leaves the BlueBox via an effluent water valve adjacent to the influent valve on the side of the technology. The technology has dimensions 650 x 500 x 400 mm and weighs 27 kg. BlueBox RO comes in a 30 and 60 model, each number designating the flow rate in liters per hour through the system.
