The Digni-Loo was developed to diminish the issues with traditional latrines such as slab cracking, cleaning challenges, and affordability.
The Digni-Loo is made up of a plastic slab, ventilation pipe, and drum/plastic lining. The Digni-Loo is design to require limited construction materials and cost 80% less than traditional latrines. The Digni-loo is distributed from Multiple Field Offices: Accra (Main), Accra (Annex), Takoradi, Kumasi. There are three purchase schemes. Customers who can afford to pay full price, customers who need access to credit and customers that will require full subsidy.

Design Specifications
The Digni-Loo is a molded plastic latrine floor slab. The slab is designed to fit over new or existing latrine pits. The Digni-Loo provides an affordable, durable, and reusable plastic latrine slab, which is visually appealing and easy to install and maintain. Once the pit is full of the Digni-Loo can be removed and placed on an empty pit. The weight of the slab is 15 kg with overall dimensions of 120 cm x 99 cm x 59 cm. The Digni-Loo can be use with any soil type.
