Designed by EcoZoom, this Plancha stove is a portable, durable stove featuring two burners with two removable tops on a cast iron griddle to enable direct access to the flame when cooking with pots. It has a refractory metal lining, ceramic insulation, hinged combustion chamber doors, and no sharp edges and it is designed to burn wood, charcoal and biomass briquettes. Design specifications include the two independent combustion chambers, each fully insultated for heat retention and transfer, a durable cast iron top that heats up evenly and can be used both with flat and round-bottomed pots and pans, a 20 cm (8 in) long chimney with an end cap and protective fence, and a space available at the back of the stove that allows storing of wet wood or biomass for drying. This stove weighs 36 kgs and its dimensions (LxWxH) in cm are 55 x 45 33.
