Design Specifications

The device uses a parabolic reflector to concentrate the power of the sun to cook food. During the night, the stove can be powered from a 12 V external power source or battery bank. There is a central metal tube that has a capacity of ~4.3 L to contain the food and maintain a high temperature for cooking.  The unit weighs 6.35 kg and has dimensions of approximately 61 x 20 x 22 cm. The cooker can bake, steam or cook food day or night, reaching temperatures of up to 288 °C.
