Design Specifications

The Haygrove Garden Tunnels are greenhouse systems that can be built on sloped, uneven ground. The system does not require the use of concrete base/slabs. The tunnels can be assembled by the user and can be moved manually from one point to another. Also, to allow air to circulate in the tunnels, there is a roller side venting system on both sides and a protective insect net which stops pests from getting into the tunnel. The covers of the tunnels are made of polythene with high diffusion characteristics which help to diffuse about 88% of the sun rays. This scatters light as it enters the tunnel allowing it to penetrate deep into the plant canopy. The polythene covers provide a UV-B window film as well. Through the good thermic and light transmission properties of the covers, the crops growing under the tunnels are protected from harmful scorching.
