The InfReC R-450 D is an infrared thermography camera that reads temperature and can be used to detect fever. It has previously been used to detect Ebola and now has applications in the context of COVID-19.
This product was selected for inclusion in WHO’s 2021 Compendium of Innovative Health Technologies for Low‐Resource Settings.

Design Specifications
The camera is typically connected via a power cable to the electricity source. Next, the user switches on the power. The user can then set the threshold temperature above which the alarm will sound. The camera is then ready for use in temperature screening.
