Manufacturer Specified Performance Parameters
After the 2010 Haiti Earthquake design students Anna Stork and Andrea Sreshta (co-founders of LuminAID) identified the lack of proper light among the products that were being distributed (medical supplies, shelters, etc). Upon this observation they created this lightweight, rechargeable solar lantern that eliminates the need for kerosene and candles, is portable, and can be easily distributed.
