Modular Bamboo Greenhouse Structure is a type of greenhouse where treated bamboo is used as the main structural material.
The key objective of the Modular Bamboo Greenhouse Structure designed by Matthew Baldwin is to improve the lifetime of bamboo greenhouses. The greenhouse is designed such that water does not come into contact with the bamboo. This was achieved through the use of coatings (Tar and Paint) as well as concrete. The goal was to double the lifetime of the bamboo greenhouse from five to ten years.
