Rubitect is a hand held probe and software system used to measure properties of the skin to diagnose bedsores.

The technology provides quantitative skin assessment to facilitate personal care. The system consists of a probe and software. The probe is used for skin measurement to detect changes in its health to support reliable detection. Rubitect Assessment Software displays the results from the Rubitect probe and enables users to monitor changes in the health of the skin to help detect progressing bedsores. The software platform provides risk analytics and alerts, severity progression monitoring, care plan management, and remote monitoring, and telehealth.
