Design Specifications
The SunKing Eco is designed to be paid off over the course of 10 weeks using an imbedded chip in the solar lantern and mobile payments. The solar lantern has three brightness settings and can run continuously on its normal setting for 8 hours on a full charge. Dimensions: 26.16x17.78x15.24cm, 0.5443kg

The Comprehensive Initiative on Technology Evaluation (CITE) at MIT evaluated personal-use solar lanterns available on the market in Uganda and published the results in January 2015.
