Product Description

Temporary dormitories are designed by a.gor.a architects to provide temporary shelter for 25 occupants. The design specifications are highly adjustable to the locally available materials and climates and the overall design intended to be merged into the existing communities. For its manufacturing bamboo and thatch are used for walls, floor, and roof, which are expected to last over two years without any previous treatment. The recycled timber used for the boarding houses is polished, de-nailed and sawed down to size.

Foundation columns prevent flood damage during heavy raining by lifting up the whole unit. They are made of reclaimed timber, which has a typical dimension of 20 cm by 20 cm and 60 cm and goes under the ground.
