Water Dispensation Units (WDUs) are stand-alone water vending machines which provide safe drinking water.

Design Specifications
WDU has some special design features such as built-in RFID Technology for smart card dispensation. The water is cleaned through 6 stage filtration process including reverse osmosis and UV+ sterilization. The system gives automatic alerts to refill the water storage tank when it reaches low level and operates on solar power with a back up battery for 2 hours of additional power. The system can dispense water in quantities between 500 ml to 2 L. WDU has a water storage tank, optional dispensing pump, one dispensing tap and power system consisting of a solar panel, inverter and battery which can extend the safe water coverage area. It also has a built-in RFID Technology for smart card dispensation.
